Catherine Ballesta

A Monterey Bay area native with deep roots and life-long connections, Catherine has been a fixture in the region's real estate community since obtaining her license in 1994. Over more than three decades, she has held nearly every role the industry offers — sales associate, trainer, sales manager, business development manager, and Vice President and Managing Officer for Intero Real Estate at their Carmel and Pacific Grove locations.

Before joining Intero, Catherine served as sales manager and trainer for a new home builder in Marina, CA, where she sold over 400 homes in five years while simultaneously mentoring and developing her sales team. Prior to that, she held a sales associate position with The Ryness Group, one of the nation's largest new home marketing organizations, consistently selling homes in Gilroy and the greater Bay Area.

Catherine's commitment to the profession extends well beyond transactions. She served as Co-Chair of Programs and Education for the Women's Council of Realtors' Santa Cruz chapter in 2009, was a guest speaker to hundreds of local agents and brokers throughout the region, and was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician for both Monterey and Santa Clara Counties in 1999. She also served as Business Development Manager for Wayland Properties, providing operational guidance and representing buyers and sellers throughout California.

Today, Catherine is with The Harley Group, expanding her practice across the Monterey Peninsula. Her property management portfolio for Monterey County generates approximately $150K per year in lease listings, with projected growth year over year.
